Forty farm was a new build property built to traditionally with a modern twist. This house is simply stunning. 

Forty Farm is an oak frame building with a Welsh slate roof. No expense was spared in this home. The owners came to Livvingale electrician Cardiff with a brief to produce a modern lighting scheme to add depth and interest to an already beautiful oak structure. 

Livvingale electrician Cardiff was faced with an exciting task.  After extensive, in depth discussions with the client Livvingale electrician Cardiff got to work.

Livvingale electrician Cardiff produced an elaborate strip lighting scheme in the kitchen/diner living space, known as the ’GRAND HALL’. This room is over 60 metres long and the client wanted to make it feel cosy. The best solution was to split the area into lighting zones using smart systems which could easily change the mood remotely. Strip lighting was run up and down the beams adding depth and interest to what was going to be a dramatic ceiling.  Livvingale electrician Cardiff then added pendants in each section.  Livvingale electrician Cardiff designed and installed the pendants using effective rope cord which added a rustic charm. 

Livvingale electrician Cardiff fitted LED spot lights to the hallways keeping them modern and sleek.  The house is linked with glass walkways which can be tricky to light effectively.  As our client was not keen on old fashioned wall lights it seemed that uplighters and downlights would be the most discreet and up to date option. 

Hanging pendants in the entrance, outside lighting and power for the electric gates finished the project nicely. This was a rewarding project for Livvingale electrician Cardiff and we were privileged to work alongside these forward thinking clients.
